Golden Tree: The Kin Ju Japanese Restaurant

CM Design's Award-Winning Blend of Tradition and Modernity

The name Kin Ju, meaning golden tree, served as the primary inspiration for this design. The restaurant's interior is a harmonious combination of high-quality materials and meticulous design, reflecting the grandeur and grace of a golden leaf tree. This concept forms an immediate connection between the restaurant's name and its aesthetic appeal, creating a unique dining experience.

What sets Kin Ju apart is the attention to detail in styles, colors, and even the smallest elements. The dominant colors of black and gold, integrated with other hues, exude a luxurious, elegant, and modern atmosphere. The lake blue color chosen for the chairs adds a sense of calmness and cleanliness, making the space suitable for any occasion. The design perfectly represents the restaurant's gorgeous and elegant theme.

The realization of this design was heavily influenced by Japanese art and craft, particularly evident in the specially designed sliding doors. These doors, a blend of modern elements and traditional culture, serve both decorative and functional purposes. An open sashimi and drinking bar in the restaurant's center enhances the sense of space while providing a convenient working environment.

The design project, which spanned from July 2016 to June 2017, was based on the client's requests and ongoing communication with the company. One of the challenges faced was ensuring a unique dining experience for every customer. This was achieved through careful attention to styles, colors, and small details, and by creating a sense of exclusivity through the design's theme.

The Kin Ju Japanese Restaurant is a testament to CM Design's ability to create a harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements. Winning the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2018, this design is a shining example of the prodigious and wise creations that advance art, design, and technology, while significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
